Rock n' Roll and Chuck Berry

Rock n' Roll brought forth new melody, beat, rhythm to the mid 50's. The lyrics and the tune always motivated the listeners to get up and move their hips. Rock n' Roll brought a positive energy and vibe and allowed people to really enjoy and bring out that excitement in the ballroom or in front of the stage. Maybe this was due to the fact that WWII had just ended and so people's mood, and tension, and, stress were lifted and thus they were able to show a more optimistic side. The music was soley aimed at younger audiences because this type of music required the fresh, youthful, and, vibrant energy that the youth often carried.

Chuck Berry's autobiography mentioned the start of his career. His love and passion for creating boogey tunes which we now call rock n' roll have heightened and marked him as a profounding guitarist, singer, songwriter. Thus, "he represented the protypical rock n' roller." Berry explains how each of songs were either inspired by his own personal experiences, or influences during his tour in California and other places. He seems to especially emphasize on how each time he takes a break from composing the songs, the "tune or story would likely take an entirely different route."
