The Who

I am glad that we got to spend at least a few minutes about The Who on Wednesday. I feel as though they are just as influential as either The Beatles or The Rolling Stones. The Who were the first ones to do a Rock opera (Tommy is the one I am specifically talking about) at a time when concept albums were still fairly new. And the film was absolutely amazing even if your not on the drugs they were when they made it.

To this day, "We Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Baba O'Riley are still two of the most beloved Rock anthems of all time but I hear so many people refer to "Baba O'Riley" as "Teenage Wasteland" and I seriously have to restrain myself from punching them in the face.

I just feel as though the Who does not get the respect their deserve times and after being brought up on The Who it just gets on my nerves. But like I said, I am very happy that Katie spent a few minutes talking about them!
