Im sitting here watching videos with my little cousin and one of his favorite songs came on and he instantly jumped up off the bed and his eyes were glued to the television. i thought it caught his attention because of the beat or the lyrics (because he knew word for word) or even because of the artist but no! once he started to get into the song i asked him what his problem was and why he went so crazy when the song came on and his reply was "did you see those girls".
i have always heard the saying "sex sells" when it came to anything that had to do with the industry but i did not know that it could have that huge influence on its ratings until i seen him almost break his neck to get close to the television . This is not the first time that i have seen something like this happen. ive heard little girls say they wanted to be in video's when they grow up because they wanna dress like the girls they see on tv. SMH (shaking my head)
