Johnny Cash

After watching the movie Walk the line in class my impressions of rock n roll was the same. I like rock n roll and i am a fan of Johnny Cash so it was a treat to see the movie. Drugs and groupies played a role in the movie and before the movie those things came to my mind when i thought of rock n roll.

Johnny Cash in my mind was going through a lot of stressful things which took away from his character and music. Between his brother passing away, writing music, going on tour for long periods of time, and problems at home. This is what lead to doing drugs and cheating on his wife. I think that music helped him to get through his troubles as a way of expressing himself through his music, and as an outlet for performing, pleasing the crowd.
