CANADA BOUND IN 2 HOURS!

I'm an avid Johnny Cash fan. The Rebel:Johnny Yuma and Hurt being my two favourites. The song Hurt is such a. . . crazy song! No matter how happy I am when I listen to it I drop down to this deep meloncholy. You can hear the self-depriciation in his voice and in the lyrics. It's. . . almost pitiful!! Even though it's a cover it's as if Johnny Cash himself wrote it. The music video makes me bawl hysterically everytime. In between the scenes of a proud and happy Johnny Cash flash the modern Johnny Cash. You feel as unhappy as he does as he sings it. Startk contrast to the movie and most of his music. It's almost painful to watch. It's such a great song though, you can't help but listen to it. Then you kind of regret doing so when you sink into a malaise over it. Meh. I guess it's time for the Stone Roses!! Something to perk me up. Btw I think we should do a field trip for class on "I'm Irish only for today" day a.k.a St.Patty's day. This awesome Celtic punk band called The Mahones is doing a show in Toronto. I'm thinking field trip. . .:D
