Elvis Presley

Even though I don't know much about Elvis Presley, but I know some of his hit songs, because he is still world wide superstar and also people regarded him as "King of Rock 'n' Roll", and he also influenced a lot in Rock 'n' Roll history. As his nick name, "King of Rock 'n' Roll", he is very important person in Rock and Roll history because he was such a super star who led music genre, Rock and Roll , to be popular. Elvis Presley gained extreme popularity, but I think Elvis Presley was more like Idol star, because mostly his fans' age were 10s to early 20s. Elvis Presley was extraordinarily popular during 1950s, however, his popularity declined after he discharged from army. some people says Elvis was popular among teens because teens expressed their feeling through Elvis music, and Rock and Roll was symbol for the disobedience against adults. However, Elvis was seemed to be more mature after his army service, so teens were disappointed at Elvis and his popularity. Still, many people remember his songs, and many musicians still cover his songs, I think Elvis Presley is one of legendary singer in 20th century.
