How Music Can Influence Violence

Have you ever heard the saying "Good music can put you in your zone." If you haven't that's fine because before this past weekend i never heard it before either. But that statement was proven to be true on numerous occasions this past Friday when me and my best friends decided to go "hit the club". Have you ever been in the car, the house or even in a store and your song comes on so you sing out loud and sometimes you want to dance but you don't wanna feel embarrassed so you just move your head a little and lip sing. I know that's how i feel at times but this past weekend was one in which made me not want to hear another violent song ever.

While in the club there were numerous songs which came on that made every once dance and that got the party "started" everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, taking pictures, conversing with friends and even singing out loud but then that changed once a song called "Knuck if You Buck" came on. This song is one that talks about fighting if your tough. When the song intro came on everyone began to pump their fists into their hands. Then that's where the fights began and did not end. I talk about this topic because i find it amazing how one song can change the mood of the people and of a party. How one song can make you love your best friend but then another song can make you hate you worse enemy.
