Another week another blog post is what i always say. No i'm kidding, but still. I think we should watch the rest (or other parts at least) of RAY cause it seems like a good movie and probably portrays the obstacles that needed to be faced by black musicians during that time period. The part where RAY was getting his pay and he got all pissed off cause he said it wasn't the right amount of money (they were ripping him off, man!). That really stuck out in my mind cause it brings up the other problems of blind (or disabled) musicians. it must have been very frustrating for RAY and "Blind" Lemon Jefferson because they actually can't see how much money they were receiving which means their manager could be totally ripping them off (which they normally did anyway) and they wouldn't even know the difference. just yet another problem faces by musicians at that time. It's garbage man.
