Is It Real Or Fake

Is rap a reality check or just a big fiction. Before I can answer this question it must be understood what a rapper is. Rappers are the only artist in musical history that do not use there actually names as their stage names. Reason. In order to become a rapper you must create an alternate super ego. So if as a person you sold x amount drugs, your super ego sold x amount of drugs multiplied by 10. With that said, it must be understood that you are listening to the music of Jay-Z not Shawn Carters, Lil Wayne not D’Wayne Carter, 50 Cent not Curtis Jackson. 90 percent of the people that consume hip-hop music are whites. They cannot begin to phantom inner city. But what these rappers rap is actually real, whether they lived it, seen it or heard about it. I understand that not every male in the ghetto is a drug dealer and not every female in the ghetto is using body for person gain. But those people do exist. Everyday in ghetto their isn’t shoot outs but shooting do happen. Actually on Tuesday my friend Kenzel was shot in the head as he walked out of a corner store. So as Jay-Z once said “do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it? How you rate music that thugs with nothing relate to….”
