While being in AMS Musics of the World course I have been learning lots of interesting things about the way music influences society. One of the interesting things that I have learned is the way different cultures have different kinds of music that they really preferred back in the days. With today's generation kind of spoiled from the kind of music that is more commercial now. Back in the day artist made music that was supposed to be motivation from several of things that was going on such as the Great Depression and other mind boggling things. Now artist kind of gear their music towards making money which means saying and doing anything that sells on the market. In this big money market everyone is trying to be innovative therefore, they can have the chance to be the next Elvis Presley or Jay-Z etc.
