Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder

With Ray Charles going blind at age 7 and Stevie Wonder blind from birth, it amazes me as to how they can learn an instrument and perfect to the extent that they did. Stevie also played drums and bass. I don't know if I could do that. I started learning the guitar in the middle of last semester and I wouldn't be able to do that blind. Disabled artists who succeed like this are inspiring. My roommate also told my about this one guitarist, Django Reinhart, who lost two of his fingers to a fire. They were paralyzed. He would do his solos with only two fingers, using the other two only for chord-work. The doctors never thought he would be able to play guitar again. He did play and was real good at it.
