Yesterday's Presentation

I really enjoyed the presentation yesterday. I think a lot of what was said regarding the popular hip hop scene today is true. It seems that many artists today are very similar in their style and content. I don't know a whole lot about hip hop, but from the little I hear on the radio there seems to be a lack of substance in the songs. Maybe I'm off base, but I think Edreys was right in saying that the late 80's was the golden age of hip hop, where there were many different acts doing distinct things that didn't sound so similar
