titles

in class on friday we talked about the importance of titles. Its really just a title. some people get named that by critics while others dub themselves a certain title. if a musician truly does something to further advance music then they will get remembered. there are not to many people that have titles that do not deserve it, but it is just a name. i dont feel as though it is useful to debate these titles.
