Michael Jackson is the king of the pop?

During 80's and 90's, he was worldwide famous, especially with his most important albums "Thriller", "Bad" and "Dangerous". One thing I am sure, Michael Jackson was the most famous artist for our generation, and no one could ever reach his world wide fame. I remember when I was just 8, me and my friends were singing MJ songs. It shows how famous he was, because none of us knew how to speak English, but our elder brothers, and sisters and even some of our fathers and mothers were so crazy about Michael Jackson so that, that much repeat of songs made us imitating his lyrics. It is very difficult to say if he is the king of pop for sure, because unlike his skin color, his fame and his art has turned into black from white year by year with child abuse cases, and extreme plastic surgeries. Those things confused people about if it is a good thing to be a fan of this man. That for sure damaged his reputation. For me, he is the king of pop for sure. I was a fan when I was just a little kid, I remember how funny I was when I tried to sing "Black or White" and "Beat it", when I listen those songs again, more than himself I remember my childhood. Even though he had extreme exposes in close past, he is still considering as the king of pop, I can't imagine what would happen if he would die 10 years ago.
