Who knows in the next 5 years, what he does may be the next biggest thing in hip hop/rap. Who needs to follow the trend when you have the ability to produce your own? In terms of "organic music" as he says, it is true that music is like a time capsule. Each era brings out a new genre of music. He wants his kids to listen to "organic music" and not some "processed music" and I strongly agree with him. When his kids grow old, that is what they will remember at that time period because to be honest, the music that is produced today is just not worth remembering.

Edreys Wajed's guest lecture
Edrey's lecture was certainly interesting. From the start, I could tell he was very passionate in what he does. His music video described his character and expressed how he felt in his perspective. I love that he went ahead and pursued a career that he loves and that he can make it big like these other recording artists in the music industry today. However, he chooses not to become that next big star in pursuit of following his own dreams.
