Lady Gaga

I am a big Lady Gaga fan and was pretty shocked that not many people in the class share the same feelings toward her as I do but everyone has their own opinions. The pictures from Lady Gaga's Disability Project are pretty shocking, confusing, and very out there but I feel like that's just her nature. I do not think that she is making a statement about disability in anyway but rather just to promote her music.

In Lady Gaga's music video for Paparazzi she is pushed from a balcony by her lover and because of injuries from this fall she needs a wheel chair to get from the limo to the house. Once in the house, Gaga uses crutches to walk through the house. With this being said I am pretty confident that the picture with the wheelchair and the picture with the crutches were just used as a means of promoting this video. As much as I would love her to be speaking out for a good cause, I'm pretty sure she's just trying to sell records.
