Bessie Smith

When I first sign for Bessie Smith, I saw Robert Johnson's name there, and I was so sad, that I was not able to make a presentation about him, I know him since I was in high school, able to play his all songs, I knew that my idols, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Paul Gilbert, Stieve Ray Vaughan, they all highly respect Robert Johnson and inspired by his music, but when I was researching about Smith, my thoughts has changed.
I didn't know she played a big role as a woman blues singer, to be honest, I never heard her name in my entire life. Now I learned something new, and that's excatly why I am taking this class. I hope, we will talk about these old legends which are the roots of many important musicians that has influenced my music skills.
