music players

When I was young, CD player was most popular music player. I like to collect CD, and listen. I saved my money to buy new CDs, and pre-ordered, and got it as soon as it released. but now, there is mp3 player, which is very easy to use. I can just download musics from internet, most of time, it's free. mp3 player gives advantages for us, because sometime I don't have to waste money for scrappy music. For CD, if I like one song, I need to buy entire CD, however, for mp3, I can download one song. However, mp3 gives disadvantages for artists. I heard, after mp3 player became popular, not many people buy CDs. It means artists won't gain lot of money as they used to. In Korea, up to early 2000s, some popular artists sold their CD like 1~3 million copies, but now, if some artists sell 300,000 copies, people consider that album does huge hit.
