Sony recently signed a record deal with the late Michael Jackson for 250 Million dollars. This after he sold 31 million albums in 2009 after his death, and a successful film
This is It. The article says that sony will distribute 10 albums over seven years, and it owns the rights until 2017. Also, part of the profits will go to Jackson's debts he still owed. Which leaves me with one question, why wouldn't his debts be completely paid off before sony makes these profits? Also, who does sony share the profit with family members?
