Sinatra during World War2

We all know Frank Sinatra, even though he was active long time ago, his fame around the world remains almost same. I never checked his background before, but Weinman's and McCafrey's articles forced me to find out whatever Sinatra has faced in a way of reaching the success. He had two different faces in public, 1. "A guy not joining the army although we are in the middle of a war, the economy is bad and musicians are in strike, but he is getting his money, girls are with him he has anything that you are not suppose to have in that time. " 2. A guy who is different than others, just find a way to perform his musical skills only by himself, lovely handsome singer" It was a coincidence, but he was that bright and didn't fade in front of unfair judgments. I think people whoever in present always inspired from past. I remember Robbie Williams had a similar story when he quit his band in very early time of his career.
