Pop or Country

Country Music? Do people even listen to that genre? I can’t believe country music has there own television network?

These were a couple of questions that would pop into my head every time somebody mentioned country music. But after yesterday’s class, I guess people really do like country music and really like. Anyways, I was thinking about Taylor Swift and this new wave of country music. Is it country or is it pop? First off, I could not be the one to tell you what is what. But when I listen to so called country artist like Taylor Swift. I do not hear any difference between her and Avril Lavigne. With all Taylor’s talent, her songs sound like pop music with a country accent. What’s so country about that? Nothing in my opinion. But who am I to judge.
