I noticed some inconsistencies with some parts. Little Walter for instance did not die in Muddy's Arms or Leonard's Chess' relationship with Etta James which is seen as fictional. For Ray, there was small things such as the time of Margie Hendricks death. Not that any of these took away from what was excellent film making.
Good points Gerard-this is perhaps where it can be dangerous in relying solely on a movie for a history lesson-you are right with the inconsistencies you raised. Its interesting how films, and television shows, have to romanticize certains aspects of the story to make them more appealing. Especially with the case of Ray and Cadillac Records-you would think the music was enough!
